Last summer we decided to get our first pet together! We found Izzy, a toy/petite goldendoodle, and fell in love with her immediately! She is a very loving puppy who has a lot of energy! She keeps us very busy! She loves to be around people at all times and also love the outdoors. Izzy enjoys going on walks, chasing birds, bunnies, squirrels, and playing in the water!

My husband and I met in a science education class in 2008, at MSU. Four years later, I married my best friend in the MSU Alumni Chapel. Currently, we both teach in Sandusky Community Schools. I teach third grade at the elementary school and he teaches 7th grade science. We both love attending MSU sporting events. We have season tickets to football and hockey. We also love to be outside and hanging out with friends and family.

My husband moved to Sandusky, MI in 2010, to start teaching 7th grade science, while I completed my internship year. After I completed my internship, I had the opportunity to come and teach third grade in Sandusky. I have been teaching third grade for the last 3 years and absolutely love what I do. I don't consider it a job; I consider it a way of life!

Family is very important to my husband and I. We spend every weekend with one of our families! In the summer, we like to go to my families cottage on Wall Lake and camping with his family in the thumb of Michigan. We also like to go to Tigers games together and have weekly barbeques!

About Me!

I would like to take the time to introduce myself! My name is Heather Hale and I was borned and raised in Okemos, Michigan. I have bled green from the day I was born! Both my parents work at Michigan State University and both of my grandfathers were professors at MSU. I have wanted to be a teacher all my life so it seemed like fate when I learned MSU had the top education program in the country.
